Sep 01, 2023Mary J Barnett Library Excited with New Donation Wall Decor | Raccoon Valley Radio - The One to Count On
The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is excited for patrons to see the updated Donor Wall in the youth area.
Library Director Jerri Hawkins gives thanks to the Friends of the Guthrie Center Library and the many donors who helped fund the paint for the project, and Kelly Nielsen who is the artist behind the painting. Nielsen’s work depicts several trees in a forest-like setting, with butterflies made up of what used to be leaves on a tree in the previous Donor Wall mural. Hawkins mentions that patrons are welcome to come and check out the artwork during regular business hours.
